It's all dark and lonely here.
Just thought I'd give a quick update on my goings-on.
Today is my last day in the office at Boston College (I will be working remotely for them for another month and a half). Ironically, everyone else is at a conference in NY, so I'm here all alone. Definitely my weirdest 'last day' ever.
On Monday, Annie and I will start our drive cross-country, eventually arriving at our "new" home somewhere within the Bay Area (specifically, San Mateo/Palo Alto/Menlo Park... somewhere in there). I've accepted a job as a Senior Software Engineer with a smallish startup, SharpCast. And Annie will be working for a law firm specializing in helping out startups (yes, her firm does represent my new company... it's all been disclosed to the appropriate parties). Of course, she still has to pass the bar which she'll take at the end of the summer :)
That's about it. For all you LA folks, I sincerely hope to make 'frequent' trips down there, so hopefully there will be a game-day or two I can crash!
